JP Landman Biography

JP Landman is a self-employed political and trend analyst, who consults to a large South African private wealth business, and works with several South African corporates on future scenario trends.  JP Landman also regularly addresses business and financial audiences on current and future trends in South Africa. 

Among some of the unique research projects his consultancy has undertaken over the last five years was the role of public institutions in battling corruption (quoted by the UN in a report on corruption); trends around poverty alleviation in South Africa and an analysis of the extent to which President Mbeki has delivered on his State of the Nation plans, which set a new benchmark in political analysis. 

JP Landman is a Harvard graduate who has had 25 years experience working in industrial relations; as an analyst on the JSE as well as editing Finansies & Tegniek and Finance Week, as well as establishing his research consultancy.
